WINDOW AND DOORS SALES DESIGN CONSULTANT

At Permaframe Home Improvements, we provide expert installation of Conservatories, Orangeries, Solid Roofs, and Windows & Doors based in Frome, Somerset and surrounding areas.

As Window & Door Sales, you will be highly driven, determined to succeed, highly flexible and deliver true professionalism to the Customer, the Company, and the industry alike. You must have a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets and be experienced, particularly in sales of home improvement products, but by far the most important qualifications are enthusiasm and determination to work hard.

It is vital you will mirror the courtesy, professionalism, and integrity that Permaframe shows throughout the Customer Journey. You must be a motivated and passionate self-starter, an enterprising, creative thinker, with technical expertise and the ability to take ownership of designs from concept to creation. Full training is provided.

In return we offer an excellent OTE level as well as product, design and software training, inspirational luxury showrooms and a hands-on consultative sales culture. Successful applicants should be full driving licence holders and car owners.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting with homeowners, providing support and help to create the homeowner’s dream home, offering different suggestions and options to suit their needs.
  • You will build effective relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring these contribute to the business success through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • You will be responsible for listening to the Customer, understanding their needs, being curious and questioning to gather the ideas needed to create the desired design.
  • You will be required to accurately measure windows, doors, porches, and roofline products.
  • You will be pro-active and confident in offering different suggestions and options to suit the customer’s needs and aspirations.
  • You will be able to address sales goals and adjust to customers’ needs to close a sale.
  • You will demonstrate confidence to the customer, explaining the quality of the product and the benefits of industry leading products which provide a lifetime of comfort, security, and overall peace of mind.
  • You will display a genuine caring approach, which will support and help the customer to solve problems to fill the needs that their home currently lacks.
  • You will display excellent product knowledge, as well as an understanding of the wide range of features and benefits, being able to relay these to the customers.
  • To demonstrate sample products, explaining what we offer and how this offering will resolve the customers current problems and further achieve the longevity and quality that we guarantee.
  • To be able to comply with the legal requirements of the FCA when demonstrating the various finance options.

INSTALLATION ADMINISTRATOR

Permaframe Home Improvements are a leading installer of conservatories, orangeries, double glazing windows, living spaces and doors throughout Somerset. At Permaframe Home Improvements, our focus is to deliver an exceptional service to our customers. To support our ongoing business growth, we are looking for an Installation Administrator. This role will be working from our Offices at Southgate Commerce Park, Frome, BA11 2RY.

Supporting the Installation Managers, your primary role will be the point of contact for customers throughout their Permaframe Home Improvements Journey.  You will engage with customers either by telephone or electronically during the installation period and resolve issues they experience.

You will assist in organising the Fitters and tradesmen installation diaries, office administration, KPI reporting and any other duties that enhance the customer experience. Working with other departments, you will be expected to promote the delivery of a high-quality service to all customers.

Role Responsibilities

Service Delivery 

  • To be responsible for liaising with all relevant departments to resolve the customer queries, including liaising with external suppliers and internal departments to identify resolution of customer problems.
  • To deal with trade personnel, both employed trade and sub-contractor trade queries.
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • To be responsible for the escalation of complex customer service/installation problems and complaints to the Installation Manager.
  • To support your team to assist with resolving customer issues as and when required.
  • To respond to email and telephone communication in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To ensure that your product knowledge is up to date, and you can offer customer advice to the resolution of their queries.
  • To work in accordance with the GGF guidelines when providing advice and support in relation to glass issues.
  • To obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries in accordance with the company guidelines.
  • To be responsible for communicating on a regular basis with customers to ensure they are happy with the service and are kept up to date with any on-going customer service problems.
  • To undertake general scanning and filing duties.

Planning

  • To update relevant departments of any delays to delivery dates.
  • To maintain and update any relevant spreadsheets of information.
  • To produce timely and accurate reports as requested.
  • Work with relevant managers to agree and maintain appropriate stock levels for parts.
  • To liaise effectively and proactively with other departments as necessary to plan and meet the supply of parts and resolve any issues raised.

Quality

  • To work with the Installation Manager and Head of Operations to collate data from both internal and external sources to provide evidence of quality issues and costs.
  • To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training opportunities.
  • To maintain quality services by establishing and enforcing organisational standards.
  • To respond and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • To work in accordance with health and safety regulations and ensuring the health and safety of all staff.  Reporting near misses and RIDDOR.
  • Any other reasonable duty that may be assigned.
  • To comply with Permaframe Home Improvements Quality Policy and objectives in every aspect of own work.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of the home improvement industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of customer service and the ability to provide timely and effective responses to the customers complaint.
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to apply a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • The ability to demonstrate effective time management and prioritise tasks.

We are looking for an experienced Installation Manager to join our high profile, top quality, fast moving and forward-thinking business. This is a highly valued, integral role, customer facing, offering variety and an opportunity to promote and protect our quality products and brand.

You must have excellent technical knowledge with the drive, passion, and determination to ensure installations run smooth, customers receive excellent quality and service, and you are involved in the process from start to finish. You will ensure all installations are completed right first time, deliver a strong focus on high quality standards, achieve installation dates, and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.

A strong knowledge of the general construction industry is an advantage, technical knowledge of the window and conservatory industry is highly desired but not essential. You will be a strong leader and people manager, providing clear direction with excellent problem solving and planning skills, with the drive to “make it happen”.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that all installations deliver a quality product in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner, providing first class customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for reviewing contracts, issuing work to surveyors, and assisting surveyors with any technical challenges, ensuring all external and internal contractors achieve deadlines.
  • Responsible for scheduling work for our fitting teams and other external contractors ensuring that all building work runs smoothly.
  • Be the first point of contact for liaising with all trades to ensure a smooth continuity of work and a first-class operation for customers.
  • Ensure contracts are completed on time and to a high-quality standard.

SERVICE ENGINEER

We have a great opportunity for a Service Engineer, to join as an ambassador for the business whilst providing excellent customer service, through resolving issues and completing service checks on our windows and conservatory roofs.

Role Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for resolving manufacturing or fitting issues with our conservatory roofs, solid roofs, windows and doors;
  • To provide excellent customer service;
  • To provide written documentation of the outcome of the service call detailing if a second visit is required;
  • To be responsible for ensuring quality work is always carried out;
  • To support Customer Services to assist with resolving production issues as and when required.

Person Attributes

  • Relevant experience in servicing Ultraframe conservatory roofs;
  • Relevant experience in servicing Guardian lightweight roofs or a similar product;
  • Relevant experiencing in servicing UPVC windows;
  • Relevant experience in servicing UPVC and composite doors;
  • The ability to fit any miscellaneous hardware or fittings that may be required such as handles, hinges, glazing, letterboxes etc;
  • Excellent product knowledge with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify cost efficient solutions to problems;
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to apply a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers;
  • A clean driving license;
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and written;
