Bi-Folds Chosen For New-Build Home
Much of our work involves fitting home improvements at traditional residences because the occupants desire improved stylishness, security and energy efficiency.
However, there are plenty of occasions when Permaframe is called upon to install products from within our extensive range at a new-build property. An estimated 141,000 new-build homes were built in 2014 in the UK (source: BBC).
This has happened very recently when we were appointed to integrate a beautiful set of aluminium bi-folding doors into a local new-build home. We relished the opportunity and were delighted to hear the incumbents express their delight at the end result.
It’s a brilliant decision to include bi-folds in the house as they’ll supply the owners with elegant access to the rear. A simple push and the individual door leafs will gracefully fold like a concertina and glide along the runner to create a substantial opening. Having such large panes of glass with slender aluminium frames will also entice lots of natural sunlight inside, leaving the interior feeling spacious and vibrant.
Nothing will get past them either as our bi-folding doors contain a host of secure mechanisms that keep them firmly shut when locked. The powder-coated finish applied to the frames won’t necessitate any future upkeep too as it is both weather-resistant and maintenance-free.
They really couldn’t have chosen a better addition for their brand new home.
