SURVEYING
Every installation begins with a survey. We’ll appoint a surveyor to visit your home, check over the proposed design(s) and accurately record all the necessary dimensions for manufacture.
At this point and at this point only, we’ll authorise your windows to be made – because everything we install is made to measure.
CARE & ATTENTION
Prior to installation, our fitting team will prepare the working area. This includes cleaning, prepping, and ensuring that any possessions are moved to a safe place.
Then, when all the work is done, the team will tidy up, clear any mess and debris, and help move all your valuables back to where they were.
FITTING
Your existing frames will be removed and, if possible, recycled. Any debris and old sealant will be cleared and the area cleaned, ready for your new windows to be installed.
The new UPVC or aluminum frames will then be carefully secured into place.
GLAZING
With the frames in place, it’s time to insert the glazed units. If trims are required, these will be measured, cut, and fitted at this stage too.
Both frames and glass will be thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt before the sealant is applied.
EXPERT FINISH
To complete the work, our fitting team will give all external surfaces another clean before adding a fine layer of silicone to ensure a perfect, long-lasting, weatherproof finish.
Once that’s done, you can stand back and admire your new windows – perfectly installed by Permaframe!
