This stunning selection of Flush Casement Windows offers the same simple lines of the earliest glazed timber windows and true to tradition, their opening lights do not stand proud of the frame. They even have the same proportions of an authentic flush casement and come with either contemporary or period hardware affixed to their design.
But while Envisage looks like wood, it provides many qualities that wood can’t, including superb thermal performance, security and a weather-resistant exterior – all essentials for any 21st Century home.
People are often surprised when we tell them that Envisage is manufactured from UPVC due to its uncanny resemblance to timber.
The use of UPVC makes Envisage so much tougher than wooden windows and eliminates the possibility of the windows weakening over time as regularly happens with genuine wooden equivalents. This will prevent the need for any future upkeep.
All of the internal and external colours developed for the Envisage range replicate the grain of various different timbers, so you’re not just limited to UPVC’s most common colour – white.
They also easily outperform timber windows for security as they contain our ‘Secure It’ window locking system which has achieved the much-coveted police-approved ‘Secured by Design’ standard.
The lock connects along the full length of the window and gives it impenetrable strength to give you frequent peace of mind, or so it should do as it has been durability tested over 30,000 times.
Together with essentials like handles and hinges, Envisage can also be further accessorised with add-ons like astragal bars to create the appearance of individual panes and emphasise their presence.
