Permaframe Answers Appeal For Cricket Club Sponsors
Permaframe always tries to do as much as it can to give something back to the local area and support worthwhile causes and initiatives.
We were therefore bowled over by the chance to begin sponsorship of Frome Cricket Club where Permaframe has recently become one of the club’s newest boundary board sponsors.
Formed in 1925, the club are celebrating their 90th year of existence and operate three senior and three junior teams at their Fromefield ground.
Up until the early 1970’s, the ground hosted first-class games and their first eleven play in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League.
Over the years they have produced three first-class cricketers for Somerset County Cricket Club, the most notable being Colin Dredge who played with Sir Ian Botham and Sir Viv Richards.
We are delighted to be on board, so to speak, and hope this will be the beginning of a long and fruitful innings with the club.
