Taking place between Friday 1st July – Sunday 10th July, the festival has been held annually in the town since 2000 and features 200 events and exhibitions, workshops, talks, walks and performances.
Ticket sales have been mightily impressive since the official line-up was first announced which reflects the quality of it.
Those performing include singer/songwriter and activist Billy Bragg; the Ukulele Orchestra of GB; Bruce Foxton’s From the Jam, Chart topping Rock band Reef, and James Browns’ legendary saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis.
36 different venues throughout Frome will be hosting shows across the 10 days and it has a Shakespeare theme as we commemorate 400 years since the passing of The Bard.
Since being conceived 16 years ago by former Frome Mayor, Martin Bax, the festival has gotten bigger and bigger and this year’s edition it set to be the biggest and best yet.
