Conservatory owners should particularly be on red alert if they have ambitions to make the most of their extension and assign it as the primary spot for lounging and dining over summer.

Refresh your interiors
Summer should see you shake up your colour scheme and inject new shades for the new season. The easiest way to do this is to invest in new throws, cushions, rugs etc. that contain colours we most associate with the summer months.
We’re talking about blues (sky, seaside), yellows (sunshine), red (sunset), green (the grass in the garden and on our many landscapes).
You can make a switch in soft furnishings again once summer comes to an end to make your conservatory autumn / winter ready.
Bi-folding / patio / French doors
As lovely as it is spending time inside a conservatory, you cannot help but want to soak in the hot summer sun outside on those rare occasions when the weather is at its best.
The integration of bi-folding doors, patio doors and French doors into your conservatory will supply you with direct access to your garden from the conservatory. You can fold or glide your way into the garden in style.
Solid roof
Conservatory usage is impossible for some conservatory owners as the inside of their extension gets incredibly hot in warm conditions, too hot for it to be utilised. This is commonly caused by old polycarbonate roofs.
Replacing the roof with a solid tiled roof is the answer to their problems as it will offer greater temperature control, preventing any excess warmth outside from negatively impacting on the interior. In winter, it will also stop the cold from getting in.
